White Mill Dehaired Guanaco Fiber Cloud

Product details: 16-19 microns, 0.75-1.5 inches staple length, natural white color.

This special fiber is comes from the neck and belly of the guanaco.  It’s just as soft (maybe even more soft) than the cream colored fiber.  I’ve been saving these white bits of fiber for 3 years and finally sent my collection to the mill to get dehaired. To separate the guard hair from the downy undercoat of guanaco fiber, the mill runs clean fiber through a dehairing machine.  The machine detects the heavy fibers and allows them to drop through, leaving the super fine and fluffy undercoat. Our mill did not disappoint this year.  Each ounce has very few guard hairs and smells fresh and clean.
