In 2025 I found a new happy place—right there in front of my Leclerc Tissart loom. With the help of my wonderful mentor Joan Griffin @joangriffintapestry I got brave and wove something big. It’s perfect timing today, on New Year’s Day to hang my first large(r) landscape prayer. In reverence to the tides and the curves of sand that lead us to the water it is just the start. So excited to make more tapestry in 2026!

Anna of @skagitwoolenworks made a special delivery to our guanacos!! With the utmost dedication to quality control, Anna wanted to consult with the growers about her sample run of 20% guanaco/ 80% fine colored merino fingering yarn. The girls conducted a thorough inspection and their results are in. Alma states, “It is swoon worthy.” Angie says, “She nailed it.” Soli had to do a double take and then snorted a resounded, “Yeah baby!” It was a great morning to see the possibilities that this collaboration could yield. And Greg and I absolutely loved hanging out with Anna.
